CONCEPT STATEMENT:

Hero is a portable lamp designed for kids. One of the primary goals of the Hero lamp is to ignite child's imagination. By resembling the shape of a superhero, the lamp becomes a source of inspiration, encouraging kids to create their own stories and adventures. Hero is designed to be more than just a lamp; it's meant to be a source of comfort and security for children. The familiar superhero shape can offer a sense of protection and companionship, especially during the night when kids might feel scared or anxious. The lamp's portability means that kids can take their Hero with them wherever they go and its user-friendly design ensures that children can easily operate it. This not only encourages interaction but also fosters a sense of independence and responsibility.

PROJECT SPECS:

Hero is entirely made through moulding of recycled plastic. Dimensions are 160x260mm. Its base contains a battery and an USB port in order to be recharged. Kids can place their hand on Hero's back side of the head in order to switch on and off the light thanks to a touch sensor switch. Hero's head can be unscrewed from the main structure in order to be able to eventually fix and replace the LED light.
