International Lighting Design Competition

 

We want to let our community know that L A M P will be taking a pause for the 2025–2026 cycle, as one of our founders focuses on navigating some health challenges. For the last 12 years, L A M P has been independently operated by its two founding members — a labor of love that has been made possible by the incredible support of designers and followers from around the world.

This decision comes with care and hope, allowing space for recovery and reflection as we plan for the future.

To all of our past participants, submitters, partners, sponsors and supporters — thank you for being part of the L A M P community. We remain deeply committed to celebrating and showcasing innovative lighting design and look forward to being back online with our next call for entries in 2027.

ANNOUNCING THE WINNERS!….

L A M P 2024 Announces the Winners for 10th International Lighting Design Competition in Partnership with Design Milk. L A M P 2024 received submissions from 77 Cities from 31 Countries.

The designs were juried by: Cheryl S. Durst, (HON. FIIDA Executive Vice President and CEO, IIDA), Rodrigo Fernández, (Diez Company, The Light Report) & Brian Richer, (Castor Design).

*Juried Submissions were judged using a custom numerical qualitative and quantitative review system that evaluates the submissions based on aesthetics, functionality & originality.
